I had a great time shooting with Accueil productions. The atmosphere was very professional, welcoming and we had a lot of fun on set. Thank you for everything.

 

Hey ya'll! I'm Marissa from Vancouver Island, BC. I am ecstatic to have been a part of creating the imagery for such a fun song. The fact that we were trusted to express ourselves in our own creative way is a big part of what makes this so special. You get to see how the music moves each of us individually. The finished product turned out beautifully and I'm grateful to have collaborated with these other talented local creatives.

 

En tant qu'artiste, collaborer avec d'autres esprits créatifs est la chose qui me comble le plus. Grâce à la positivité indélébile et à la vision inspirée et inspirante de l'équipe des Productions Robein, on a eu une expérience de tournage inoubliable où chaque participant.e s'est senti.e à l'aise et a pu s'exprimer pleinement. On a surtout eu beaucoup de fous rires.

 

Paolino and Alex are a pair of independent artists working out of Victoria, BC on a variety of creative projects. Paolino describes themself as a professional dilettante with an interdisciplinary practice focusing on intersections of queerness, play, ritual, disability, and desire. Alex's multimedia practice explores ideas of self with themes of memory, disability, queerness, and media analysis. Alex also maintains an independent design practice and is a freelance contributor to media arts publications.

T'es Magique was a special project for us. We were recruited as editors late in the production cycle to help the crew bring out the little moments of joy in the music video. We worked directly with Matt to assemble the 17 hours! of footage that he and Charl had collected, editing it down to tell a story through movement, rhythm, sound, and a splash of special effects. Together we were able to bring the vision to life and make something bright, energetic, and very, very sparkly.

 

Travailler sur le vidéoclip T’es Magique a été une expérience vraiment enrichissante! J'ai pris l'avion pour la première fois pour me rendre à Victoria (BC) afin d’être présent tout au long du processus de tournage pour s’assurer que tout se passe bien pour l’ensemble de l’équipe. Une équipe dynamique, le fun et professionnelle pour des moments inoubliables! Merci à tous et à toutes pour cette belle expérience!
